BatchEncoder is an audio files conversion software created and actively developed by Wiesław Šoltés. It supports most of popular audio file formats which includes lossy and lossless codecs. The main program window is very simple to use. BatchEncoder is basically GUI front-end for command-line tools. All it does is creating background processes and passing arguments to them with options you select from format/presets dropdown list and additionally adding input and output file paths.

BatchEncoder features:

  • audio conversion utility for Win32/x64 OS,
  • support for Unicode and Ansi charsets,
  • support for popular lossy and lossless audio formats,
  • easy to configure and use for newbies,
  • advanced options for experienced users,
  • source code distibuted under GPLv2 license,
  • constantly developed as requirements changing.

The BatchEncoder program is distributed in release packages. There are available three types of packages: installable binary distribution for Win32/x64 OS, packed binary distribution for Win32/x64 OS and packed source distribution for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008.
